EMERGENCY's Anabah Maternity Centre in Afghanistan

Breech Without Borders is collaborating with EMERGENCY, a nonprofit NGO based in Italy with global healthcare projects to improve maternal and infant health in Afghanistan. BWB is providing vaginal breech training and educational materials, free of charge, to the midwives and physicians at the Anabah Maternity Centre, a busy hospital supporting over 600 births per month or 7,200 births per year. Hospital trainings & Grand Rounds

Grant projects

Breech Without Borders is applying for grants, specifically ones that will allow us to train health professionals serving historically underrepresented communities and resource-poor populations. Read more here.

Breech Birth Alliance

Breech Without Borders has established a network of partners (hospitals, clinics, provider training programs, and community nonprofits). Alliance partners are eligible for grant partnership. Read more here. 

Humanascer - Brazil

In December 2024, Breech Without Borders provided breech training to a large group of traditional midwives in the Amazon, free of charge, via the traditional midwifery school Humanascer. In exchange, the school's director is translating the 2nd edition of the Guide into Portuguese. 

Parteira Livre - Brazil

Breech Without Borders is providing online breech training courses, free of charge, to Parteira Livre students. In exchange, Parteira Livre is providing translators for the monthly Portuguese live sessions.
