Best Practice Guidelines for Vaginal Breech Birth

We are drafting best practice guidelines for vaginal breech birth, with an emphasis on physiologic birth. Unlike existing obstetric guidelines, our guidelines are free from institutional protocols and restrictions and are based on the extensive experience of our breech guideline team. These providers have attended 1,300 breech births, 1,000 twin births, and 8 sets of triplets with an average vaginal birth rate of over 98%.

We have created a first draft and would like input from community stakeholders: parents, healthcare providers, hospital administrators, human rights attorneys, childbirth advocates, and more.
